A stitched up heart was one of my first "real" paintings, and it's an image I keep revisiting. '
Because this is my heart. On the bad days I see it as broken beyond repair, stitches fraying, ripping at the seams. But on others it's a comforting image. It's not a pretty fix, but I know it will hold, and my heart still finds happiness.
